Casey is a Project Associate with a focus in geospatial information systems. He is passionate about leveraging cartography to help navigate communities through the challenges of environmental stewardship and the impacts of climate change.

Prior to joining BERK, he interned with the Bainbridge Island Metro Parks & Recreation District and was an Assistant in the GIS Lab at Western Washington University. He also served as administrator of the WWU Critical Cartography Collective, GIS Developer of the Sehome Hill Arboretum Sound Map, and member of WWU’s Mapping Accessibility Team. Casey has a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a GIS Emphasis and a GIS Certificate from Western Washington University.

Casey is a Washingtonian through and through. He was born in Bremerton and grew up in Kitsap County. In his free time, Casey enjoys exploring new places, hiking, making music, reading, and spending time with his cat, Carl. He’s always on the lookout for a board game bar or arcade to kick back with his friends.
