Stella Streufert
Stella is the firm’s Winter 2024 Planning & Public Policy Intern, providing project and internal support to the team. Her expertise is in project support and research, with an interest in data analysis and public policy.
Prior to joining the firm, she studied California transportation policy for her undergraduate thesis, worked with the RAND corporation as a student assistant, and sailed across the Pacific Ocean conducting climate research with Sea Education Association. She also was a legal assistant at a local family law firm and interned with Environment Washington. Stella graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 2023 with a B.A. in Environment, Economics, and Politics.
Outside BERK
Originally from Bainbridge Island, Stella grew up surrounded by cold water. After studying in Southern California for four years, she is happy to return to cold plunges and sunshine as a novelty. Stella loves good coffee, bristlecone pine trees, and any adventure with friends, whether that’s mountaineering through Wyoming, biking to Portland, or climbing big rocks.
